With the upcoming end of the year, there is no better time to reach out to the community and share our views on how the year went, what was good, what was bad and most importantly, what we can look forward to in the year 2020.

Technology

More than ever before, we are committed to creating the world’s most advanced network technology stack and, as a matter of fact, we have already made significant progress.

What we are building is a new kind of software-defined networking (SDN) technology, and we are doing that by utilizing state-of-the-art advancements in fields of routing, security and distributed ledger. Our tech is built on a mesh architecture and governed by the distributed routing protocol, as well as particularly lightweight implementation. All of that enables us to bring a product with substantially higher performance, zero-trust security, increased reliability and full network automation.

This year, we have already managed to develop the SRv6 SDN software stack with fully automated cross-cloud network deployment. Now, in preparation for the NOIA App launch, we are increasing the capacity of our backbone. Besides, to test Syntropy’s technology on private network infrastructures, we are working on obtaining sandbox environments from several large companies.

Our tech will first see the light of the day with the release of the NOIA App, and it will mark, for the first time in the Internet’s history, deployment of SRv6 technology for public use. When launched, it will run on our proprietary SRv6 Software Stack and Distributed Autonomous Routing Protocol (DARP). The next stage for Syntropy will be the launch of a secure zero-trust network which is distributed and decentralized through the use of the distributed ledger. We are in works of fully incorporating our nodes into the joint framework of Syntropy. Once it’s finished, nodes will help form a truly decentralized system. Soon, everyone will be able to join our network while helping speed up the Internet for all.

The software is currently being tested for throughput, performance and reliability, and the feature set is being finalized to make it available for large enterprise and public deployments.

Syntropy Application

We are aiming to launch the first version of the NOIA App to our Ambassadors and selected Community members before the end of January. They will help test and gather various performance data to allow our technology team to learn and improve the App before releasing it to a broader audience.

We have already found hundreds of destinations where the NOIA App not only improves Internet speed significantly but also provides a stable connection without interruptions.

The connection between the application and the Syntropy backbone will be equipped with state-of-the-art security measures, so not only will it improve the internet performance but also provide better security than a regular VPN service.

Speaking of VPN services, we firmly believe that their technology is rudimentary or at the very least — outdated. It fulfils only one purpose — hides your identity online, but often poorly. Besides, while doing that, it slows down your Internet connection. The modern Internet user deserves the solution that is as secure but even faster than the regular Internet connection, don’t you think? NOIA App, once in its market-ready stage, will prove to be superior to anything currently available in the market, and you will be first to witness that.

Once the DARP protocol is thoroughly tested and implemented, the network will become a distributed, high-performance, zero-trust system which will forever change how people use the Internet.

It will be the best performing, most secure and privacy-preserving Internet service available. NOIA token will set the example for blockchain applications in real-world scenarios and provide an actual use-case model of using blockchain technology in the distributed Internet network.

Business

We’ve had a fascinating year in terms of progress on the business development front.

Over the last six months, mainly due to our close partnership with RampRate and Tony Greenberg’s active involvement in the company, we signed Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and began deploying PoCs with some of the largest technology companies, not only in Silicon Valley, but worldwide. Of course, dealing with public companies of such size and scale can be intricate, yet we hope to be able to begin announcing some of these achievements to our community within the first quarter of 2020.

Another intriguing initiative you can expect to hear about in Q1 has to do with our efforts in the world of academia. We have partnered with a group of very motivated individuals who will help us execute this initiative and bring together some of the world’s best universities to play a prominent role in the future of, not only Syntropy, but the Internet itself.

Team

Due to our growing commitment to working with more and more enterprises, we’ve begun expanding our team and will be ready to start the new year strong. We are adding a couple of very senior business development officers (with 20+ years of experience in the cloud and networks industry) that will build out further business applications for our technology stack. Across the areas of business and marketing, we are also looking to add six new people before the end of January.

Token

One of the main goals for the year 2020 is to finally bridge the gap between what we do behind closed curtains and what information is available to our community. We will seek to have our business and technology progress more fully reflected in the token market. Unfortunately, until we reach a certain level of partnership, NDAs tend to restrict us from communicating the names of these companies to our community. In light of this, we ask for your continued patience.

Starting as of January, we plan to communicate differently with our community. While we may be unable to announce new partnerships every week to keep everyone excited, we will, however, convey the day to day business of Syntropy. We will show you what we are working on; the challenges facing us; the progress we are making; etc.

We, as founders of the company, are incentivized and committed to seeing the NOIA token succeed. However, we do understand that the token will thrive only when we achieve the latter objectives — so that is where we are putting our efforts.

As previously communicated through Nojus, currently the majority of token selling originates from one motivated investor whose goal is to exit his position at any cost, even at a loss. While on the one hand, it suppresses the token price significantly, on the other hand, it does present an opportunity. Nevertheless, excluding today’s distribution, there is only one more distribution remaining, which will take place on the 22nd of January with overall token sale distribution ending in February.

We have never been more confident as we are today that we will turn the token market around. So far not that many know about Syntropy and we are determined to change that.

Tokens need a place to live — we get that. While most of you were waiting for more listings of the NOIA token, we haven’t been sitting around. What we have done is we started talking with most of the largest exchanges. We can assure you that they are interested in listing our token. However, the honeymoon period is over in the world of crypto. Lately, exchanges have matured. They started caring more about their reputation and became more cautious when selecting candidates for listings. Now, they consider actual results achieved, and not the hype surrounding the project. We couldn’t agree more with this logic, and that is why we are now focusing on building a solid business and tech fundamentals first. We are well-informed of entrance terms and conditions to these exchanges and are progressively working towards satisfying them.

Last Remarks

This time of the year also marks the 2nd anniversary of Syntropy. Two short years ago, we started with just an idea, and here we are today! These past two years have been the most exciting in our lives. We got to work with some of the smartest people in the world (we even hired a few of them to join us). We succeeded, and we failed, but most importantly, we never gave up. We are betting big on 2020, so we invite you to stick around and continue the adventure together with us!
